Stanley Tree believes in giving back to the community it is a part of; and what better way than granting someone’s wish! A Wish Come True, a local non-profit that grants wishes to children with life threatening illnesses came to us looking for help doing just that. We gladly donated our services to remove a blue spruce tree paving the way for a deck extension and ultimately the hot tub that Jonathan wished for. See the post below pulled from A Wish Come True’s Facebook page.
Jonathan’s Hot Tub Wish is officially up and running! Jonathan is the wish child who selected a Hot Tub as his wish to help him with his therapy, once he realized that his first wish for a bunch of scientists to get together to create a medicine to cure kids who can’t walk, was not something AWCT could grant. Many people helped us to fulfill Jonathan’s wish, from the tree that had to come down that Stanley Tree Service removed at no charge, to The Pool Source with providing AWCT with a generous discount on the Hot Tub Jonathan selected, to JW & Sons (John Webb) for extending the families deck at no charge to our organization and finally to Adam Dejesus for donating his time and services on the electrical work. The power of many working together for one very special boy! Volunteer wish granters Tracy Walsh, Mary Kate Agnew and Jay Still thank you for all that you continue to do for AWCT.
